Privacy

This site is a private preview of Angel Lantern, an interactive way to watch Angel shows, shared with invited guests. Here’s what it collects and why.

When you sign in

Google shares your name, email address, and profile picture with this site. We keep them on a guest list so we can approve your access, along with when you asked and when you were approved. That’s all we ask Google for: we never see your Google password, and we can’t see your contacts, files, or anything else in your Google account.

Cookies

One cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days, and signing out removes it. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. Google’s sign-in button may set its own cookies, covered by Google’s privacy policy.

What stays in your browser

Your progress in Lantern, like where you paused, your answers, the lessons you build, and anything you add in Lantern Studio, is saved in your browser and isn’t sent to us. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes it. If you use the phone remote in Lantern Lessons, its taps pass through our server to your screen and aren’t stored.

Server logs

Like most websites, our server keeps a log of requests, including IP address and browser type, plus sign-in events. We use it to keep the site running and secure.

Who else is involved

We don’t sell or share your information, show ads, or use analytics. The site runs on our cloud hosting and storage providers. Your browser also loads fonts from Google Fonts and the sign-in button from Google, so Google sees your IP address when it serves them.

Removing your information

Email jeremy@angel.com and we’ll remove you from the guest list, which also ends your access.
